Dynamic Slotting

The organization of inventory that is stored in a warehouse determines how efficient it is later picked. FastTrak automatically organizes items by calculating optimal and convenient picking scenarios based order statistics, item velocity, and other user-defined criteria. Item placement is often based on the Pareto principle (80-20 rule). FastTrak places the most frequently ordered items in a convenient location for faster picking. This process greatly improves picking productivity by reducing “walk-labor” or machine picking times (ex. AS/RS). It manages multiple locations for the same SKU, provides lot and serial number controls, and controls item replenishment. This software is expandable and used for warehouses handling a vast number of items in large area.
